Provincial Nominee
Provincial Nominee
Rise overseas has the expertise in providing the permanent residency solutions to the people those who want to move Canada. The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is a Canadian immigration program in which provinces and territories are allowed to nominate people having a desire to settle in a certain province or territory and those who wish to make a contribution towards the economic development of that province or territory.
This provision is actually designed to help meet explicit provincial or territorial economic requirements. If one is nominated by a province or territory, that person have to meet an additional criteria that is set established by that particular province or territory in order to be invited for applying for permanent residence.
The PNP is definitely not a different program from the system set for Express Entry. But at the same time, you will have to meet the eligibility criteria required for one of the federal economic immigration programs to be eligible to receive an invitation to apply through the Express Entry system. An example for this is the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Federal Skilled Trades Program.
Provided the invitation you receive to apply through the Express Entry system, you will be provided a certain number of points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) which is based on the information you provided in your profile available online, and it includes your PNP nomination.
It will further require you to score high in CRS so that they can select you from the Express Entry pool. This will enable you to receive an invitation and you will be able to apply for permanent residence. Rise overseas simplifies this process for you so that your additional efforts can be reduced.
Though the PNP is one way to immigrate to Canada through the Express Entry system but you may also establish your eligibility to receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence through Express Entry. This system does not require the condition that you have to be nominated by a province or territory.
There is a dual method of being nominated by a province or territory under the PNP:
1) You may be nominated under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative if you have the skills and experience that a specific province or territory needs from its residents.
2) You may also be nominated through the PNP if are in possession of a valid job offer from an employer in a particular province or territory.
If you are interested in immigrating to Canada through the PNP, you will need to contact the province or territory you are interested in settling in to find out more information on their specific programs and requirements.
